About

Massachusetts has a Food Problem

Despite being one of the most affluent states in the nation, Massachusetts has fewer supermarkets per capita than almost any other state, ranking third lowest nationwide.

Purple Greens Farm is Helping Fix That

Who?

Purple Greens Farm transforms local lawns into productive gardens, creating beautiful produce micro-farms that are both solar-powered and utilize recycled rainwater. We manage these gardens for homeowners, enabling them to keep 10% of their harvest while the rest is sold to neighbors within a five-mile radius. This model not only promotes access to fresh fruits and vegetables but also helps create sustainable food sources within the community.

The More Pre-Order’s we get this season, the more food we can grow. The more food we can grow, the more accessible affordable fresh food can become.

Our values

Our mission is to empower our community to incorporate more delicious fresh foods for their family, sustainably.
